A host of the latest Power Macintoshes, Intel® Pentium® processor like i5 and i7s and UNIX systems (Silicon Graphics IRIX or Sun Solaris) are used for retouching, image manipulation and page assembly and output. Apart from popular prepress applications such as Adobe PhotoShop CS5, QuarkXPress, PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator, and other high-end software packages like Dalim, ArtPro and Solvero are used for handling jobs with special requirements. For example, Solvero is used for opening up PostScript files with problems and graphically manipulating them. Dalim is used for intensive compositing and ArtPro for all kinds of line-work manipulation.

Pre Press

Digital workflow becomes a reality here - fully imposed flats with colour bars, registration marks and cut marks are sent directly to the image setter. This means that there is no manual stripping involved, which means faster and easier registration on press.
